After crossing the German-Swiss border, follow the Lake Constance Cycle Path along the Untersee towards Stein am Rhein. The small island of Werd is located near Eschenz. From there you cycle to Gailingen or Stein am Rhein.

Visit the Hesse Museum or the Haus Dix Museum in Gaienhofen before heading to your destination for the day, Radolfzell. The cathedral there has the highest church tower on Lake Constance. The first few kilometers of your cycling day today take you over the Bodanrück. After some steep climbs, you reach Lake Constance again. Treat yourself to a coffee with a view of the lake and the mountains before heading to the festival town of Bregenz. You will spend the night in Lindau or Bregenz.

Before you get on your bike, you can enjoy a relaxing ride up the Pfänder. Once at the top, you have an excellent view of Lake Constance and countless Alpine peaks from Bregenz's local mountain. Back on the bike, the route takes you swiftly across the (Alpine) Rhine to Rorschach in Switzerland or to Arbon, just a few kilometers away. Situated between the hills of Appenzellerland and Lake Constance, both towns with their lidos offer refreshing moments in the lake and beautiful views of the opposite shore.
